Revived and hungry, the sightless zombies rely on their ears to hunt down their victims, and unlike most undead, who stumble about in slow-moving hordes, the Templars ride horses and even trains in pursuit of the sweet, sweet flesh of the living. In the hands of a lesser filmmaker, this premise would come across as laughable, but Amando de Ossorio effectively creates a chilling, creepy movie. Sequel: RETURN OF THE BLIND DEAD. [More]

an elegiac counter-vision that is much more fanciful than Night of the Living Dead dand wholly continental.
