Dated and flawed, but super cool for Val Kilmer's brilliant performance as Doc Holiday.

It's 2009 and two years after this review but "Tombstone" is neither flawed nor dated. One of the top 10 Westerns of all time and in my top 10 of all movies.

I do agree, however, that it is "super cool."

I have to agree with Michael W. This movie would do the Duke himself proud. It depicts Wyatt as a man, flawed and driven. And while his choices weren't always pretty, they were his. But do have to agree with the original reviewer - Kilmer was absolutely at the top of his game. And Brilliant is a good description. Artfully directed - amazingly shot on location! A true piece of history.
