TORONTO: Blog Day 2 -- "Fiction," "Babel," and the Flaming Lips Live!!
by Tim Ryan | September 10, 2006
Discuss Article
On Day Two of the Toronto International Film Festival, your humble Tomato correspondents finally got into the swing of things. We saw some particularly strong films ("Babel," "Deliver Us From Evil"), hit a red carpet, and went to a cookout -- with the Flaming Lips.

Reese and Christina work it for RT at the "Penelope" Gala!

The festival has really started to heat up, and we caught some hotly anticipated films and got some shots of Reese Witherspoon, Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson at the red carpet for "Penelope." We also heard a three song set from those fearless freaks, the Flaming Lips, at a party for "Summercamp!" Click here to read more about the films we watched (including "Stranger than Fiction," "Coeurs," "Deliver Us From Evil," and "Babel"), and here to check out our photos.
