Audience Reviews for Total Recall 2070

Pretty awful pilot which didn't leave me wanting to see more. It barely has anything to do with the original Total Recall, and the story within this TV movie is uninteresting. The characters are bland, the action is slow, and the climax stinks.

This was a made for tv movie, a pilot for the TV series that lasted about 1 season. Its actually pretty good, not really related to the Arnold movie very much. This is much more how I envision the Philip K Dick stories/world. Its darker and grittier like Blade Runner and centers around the CPG the Citizens Protection Bureau which is the future police force. There's androids and of course big business like Total Recall which are all about making a profit at the expense of their customers and public. Easton and most of the cast are a bit of overactors, but Pruner is surprisingly well casted as Eastons new partner at the CPG when his previous partner is suddenly killed by renegade androids. Just remember its more of a cop movie. The series actually was pretty decent too. Hulu and IMDB have full episodes at this time, including this movie as the first two episodes.

This is what Total Recall the movie should have been and the closest TV will ever come to a Blade Runner TV series, it's a real shame it didn't make it very far.
