After making a name for himself with the gritty action spectacular City on Fire, Ringo Lam returns to directing comedies with his film featuring Sammo Hung. When humble noodle stand owner Fat Goose (Hung) is the unfortunate witness to a mob hit, he is convinced by ambitious cop Pitt (Vincent Wan Yueng) to testify against the killer, Lam Man-fu (Tommy Wong Kwong-leung).
