Set on the stunning Carribean island of St. Martin, the story centers around the Sommer and the Philips clans, both prominent, powerful families in competition for dominance. The Philips patriarch, Cristof, makes an attempt at reconciliation, but as the attraction between Ocean Sommers and Cristof's daughter Maxine becomes apparent, the feud is reinforced even more strongly. Defying her family's wishes, Maxine braves a hurricane to join Ocean for a secret rendezvous, and the two share a night of illicit passion.
