Critic Review - At the Movies

It's confusing and excessive and it just missed the mark completely.

Since a bunch of kids are going to get on here and get their panties in a bunch because of your negative review, let me get their complaints out of the way. I will use their vernacular for this:

U DUNT kNO WAT U R TALKIN ABOUT. THIS MOVEE WUS DA BEST. UR STOOPID AND MAYBE EVEN GAY. YOU GET PAID TO SAY DUMB THINGS. I HATE YOU. THIS MOVIE WUS GOOD BECAUSE TEH MARKETING AND HYPE TOLD ME SO. I SAW EXPLOSIONS BOOBS AND SEX, I LIKE THOSE THINGS I LIKE THIS MOVIE. SCREW U!!!1!!

No for those of us who actually have a standard by which we measure movies, namely a good script, good acting and coherent plot, this movie fails on all accounts.

Bay defenders also accuse us of entering the cinema with excessive expectations, but that's simply untrue. I found the "humor" of this film to be infantile and extremely unfunny, and the action scenes had no emotional purpose. It was all noise, color, and meaningless sound.

Isn't the point of an action movie to be excessive? What's the "mark" it's supposed to hit?

Mark? It was actually aiming for something? I didn't come away with that impression, personally.

I agree. This movie may just redefine the word FAIL. Then again, I heard Bay is going to take another swipe at the franchise he's been destroying. Is it too much to ask him to move on to something he's more suited to? Something like... I dunno, low rent late night B movies?
