With all due respect Dennis, the point you made about this movie's vulgarity and profanity really makes little sense. This movie had no nudity and little gore (as stated in the description from many cinema's) so, to receive a rating of 18A, it will obviously involve a certain level of crude and degrading humor higher then that of a children's flick. Also I believe this movie could have stood alone as an action and still made a great rating - although, the stupid (yet hilarious humor) added that extra touch, which got it its over 80 rating. So although I heavily respect you as a critic, I have to disagree with you on this one.

That's the most accurate review of this movie I've read yet. I'm sorry, but if you thought this movie was funny, if you thought the jokes weren't trite and stale, if you thought the many stereotypes were used cleverly, or if you disagreed with Dennis Schwartz' review in any way, then you're most likely very very dumb and should reevaluate your sense of humor, intellect, and values. Downy's performance was really good... too bad everything else sucked.

Why can't any one leave proper comments? You don't have to say "**** off" to a critic just because they didn't like a movie and you did.

Personally, I didn't like it much myself. I laughed a little, but most of the jokes were just too easy and dim-witted. And I'm not a conservative republican, so don't blame it on that. It just wasn't a tasteful movie.

The only thing I found offensive about this movie was it's lack of humour! I've never seen an attempted comedy push so hard for laughs yet fail so badly.
