Premiering Tonight:

We Are Men: Season 1 4%

The critics say that We Are Men suffers from regressive bro humor and cliched midlife crisis jokes that are too shopworn to be enlivened by its talented cast. More

New Episodes Tonight:

2 Broke Girls: Season 3 ——

Once again, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs are female and financially insolvent; in tonight's episode, our heroines are alternately bedazzled and stymied by new technology -- namey, a crowdfunding website and a new smartphone. More

The Blacklist: Season 1 82%

Critics say James Spader is riveting as a criminal-turned-informant, and his presence goes a long way toward making this twisty but occasionally implausible crime procedural compelling. In this episode, our hero and his CIA handlers are on the trail of a criminal know as "The Freelancer." More

Bones: Season 9 83%

The venerable crime solving couple of Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz is back, and they've got a bunch of new supporting players. In the newest episode, our heroes investigate the brutal murder of a gang leader. More

Castle: Season 6 83%

Now that Castle (Nathan Fillion) has popped the question to Beckett (Stana Katic), will our heroes be able to solve crimes while reflecting on their personal lives? In tonight's episode, Beckett searches frantically for the source a deadly toxin that has already infected Castle. More

Hostages: Season 1 57%

The critics say Hostages has an intriguing premise and handsome production values, but its twisty plot sometimes strains credulity. Tonight, Ellen (Toni Collette) refuses to assassinate the president, so Duncan (Dylan McDermott) threatens to kill one of her family members. More

How I Met Your Mother: Season 9 80%

This is the season in which we finally meet the mother of the title. In tonight's episode, Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) deal with the arrival of their relatives for the big wedding. More

Mom: Season 1 67%

Anna Faris and Allison Janney share an undeniable comedic chemistry, and if the jokes are sometimes too crass, Mom represents a sincere (and often witty) attempt to address addiction issues. In tonight's evocatively title episode "A Pee Stick and an Asian Raccoon," mother and daughter set aside their mutual antipathy to deal with a family crisis. More

Sleepy Hollow: Season 1 77%

Despite its overstuffed plot, critics find Sleepy Hollow to be a fun romp with exciting action scenes and sparkling production values. This evening, the nefarious Sandman infiltrates the dreams of Sleepy Hollow denizens. More

I stopped watching "How I met your Mother" somewhere after season 3, because, although I think the characters are amusing, especially the gifted Neil Patrick Harris, I got tired of waiting to see who the "Mother" was.

Too bad you don't include Cartoon Network. I plan on watching Adventure Time. I do want to complete How I Met your Mother but I need to some catching up to.
