"The TV Set" feels a little underdone and half-realized, as if it were the pilot episode for a show that never got picked up for the fall season.
You have captured how I feel about this exactly. I can't believe this was passed off as a "Movie." And how crazy was it that the subject was in such blaring harmony with this movies own nature? Was it one big punchline?Speaking about the business of television, which I know nothing about and only assume it's as horrible as this depiction, how are Sigourney Weaver and David Duchovney not ready to star in this sitcom?
