Cinema.com: A densely erotic, twisted take on teen screen romance, Twilight zones out beneath the crushing weight of underage lust intensified and complicated by the excruciating abstention here of unorthodox vampire appetites.
personally, i found the story quite generic, and unorginal but i will credit catherine hardwicke for giving this film a definate sense of style, and making what wa a very low budget film, with wooden actors look as if i was intended to be th way. the wooden acting alsmot captures how awkward real life conversation is. all to often in hollywood films people spurt into sanctimmonius poetic rants about their feelings bu for the most art in this film we are spared the faker melodrama, and even the lead characters come across as very reaistically bland.
the choice of location and colour schemes etc, is also very good .
its not a film id watch out of choice but it has some really nice redeeming features

What the fuck is this bitch rambling about? Just say that you loved Taylor Lautner's shirtless scenes and save us the pretentious bullshit.
