What an odd list. I think this is the first time ive seen a single digit film on a favorite list.

Well, at least he actually gave HIS favorites instead of most people's favs.

(That's right, I'm talking about you, Dane Cook!!)

I love the fact he's put an honest list together rather than some pretentious rubbish that some pr person has put together for an actor. In another interview he flagged up the 2005 French movie The Beat that My Heart Skipped. The lead role in that is the one he wished he could have played.

Pattinson is a down to earth class act.

I love a guy who loves his Godard. Guess I'm easy.

For me, Corky Romano just got a helluva lot better. I have to rent this DVD and watch the special features.

Other than Corky Romano (!), this is a very good list. I think I hate Twilight a little less. Good to see some love for One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

WORD..i was actually astonished by that pick..also i found it MASSIVELY ANNOYING that he kept using the word 'literally'..its okay the first couple of times, but after that it gets irritating..find a new word PLEASE

Actually, he's commenting on the fact that it was hilarious in its failure to provide humour. I wouldn't say learn to read in-depth more, but...

I wonder which one of his friends introduced him to Godard?

I think the RT editors have made a fatal flaw in judgement. The average user of RottenTomatoes.com is not a 14 year old girl. So who cares what movies this choad likes?

What's next? His favorite flavor LipSmackers?

vitajex

SPOILER ALERT: It's CHERRY!

No- the average RottenTomatoes users aren't 14 year olds. Apparently they are bitter fanboys. The fact you know what Lip Smackers is doesn't bode well for your masculinity.

This is a website about movies, Robert Pattinson is an actor in a movie. Yeah try to wrap your mind around that.

Anyhow, interesting list-it seems pretty flipping honest too.

guys, don't be such a-holes...sure I have no allegiance to this Twilight stuff, but the guy doesn't have terrible taste....sure seeing Corky Romano there was odd (which I haven't seen and don't plan to), but Pattinson gave original answers that he truly meant and thats something I can respect

Yeah pretty random list. A quality film like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and... Corky Romano? Wow. Oh well. I praise him for having the guts to say he likes that film. Even though it is horribly awful.

I think it's important to read into what he says about Corky Romano. He obviously likes watching it precisely because it's terrible. I can relate. I love watching Pootie Tang, but not because it's a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but rather it's so ridiculous it approaches being sublime.

The more I hear about this fellow, the more I like him. I may rent Twilight just to see how much life he breathes into Edward. His performance will probably be the high point of the movie (and series, as the case may be).

jodiodie

yeah he's probably the only thing that's good about that movie....the hormones are driving the box office sales at the moment...The role is so corny and this guy turned it into something that stood a chance for enjoyment..

I love the reason why he loves "Corky Romano":

"I love how Chris Kattan just stripped his whole career in one movie. The only guy off Saturday Night Live who just messed it up! It's like, what happened? The only guy. That's why I think it's so great."

It really messed up his career. Just as bad as "Master of Disguise" did for Dana Carvey.

Hey I have some weird guilty pleasures on my list. "Bridget Jones' Diary" and "The Wedding Singer", and "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" are on my list alongside "North By Northwest", "Little Miss Sunshine", and "The Apartment".

Well, I definitely don't mind that he like Corky Romano. We all have our guilty pleasure with some stupid films. It is nice to see someone having the gut to put that kind of films on the top 5 lists, which isn't wrong at all because he is just supposed to give the list of 5 films that he personally likes not the universally greatest films ever made.
