For true Twilight believers, the slow moments are more opportunity to gaze at pretty-boy young men playing characters who're both the best and worst boyfriends a girl could ever have.

close but these are both the worst boyfriend a girl could ever have they are nothing but characters of some pre-teen's dream fantasy about some pretty boy stalker and yes he is a stalker just look at this situation he always follows her watches her sleep constantly and she refuses to give up. i have seen this before in abusive relationships where the girl is brainwashed and if this is your idea of a good boyfriend then i feel sorry for anyone you have ever dated

Yes, it's a fantasy.

But it's a fantasy that paints the lead character, who apparently acts as a role model to young girls, as a soulless, manipulative, whiny, and co-dependent **** tease of a wench. She does nothing but brood over guys and tries to get into relationships that never (NEVER) go beyond the purely physical. At one point in the movie, she tries to kill herself by jumping off a cliff because her boyfriend dumped her.

And your defense to this plot and logic is 'it's just fantasy?' To quote you, 'how horrible.'
