The first episode in this volume is "The Prime Mover," which stars Buddy Ebsen (THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES) as Jimbo, a short order cook with telekenetic abilities. Once his gambling addict boss (Dane Clark) catches on to Jimbo's gift, he takes him out to Las Vegas for a spree, with his girlfriend (Christine White) in tow. The end result of course, is not what anyone expects--this is after all... the Twilight Zone. The second episode, titled "The Fever" continues the Las Vegas motif, as middle-aged couple the Gibbs' win a trip to Las Vegas. The cranky, moralistic husband (Everett Sloan) frowns on the whole thing, and refuses to let his wife gamble, but eventually finds himself irresistibly drawn to a certain slot machine; he even hears it call his name as it belches out the jackpots. Eventually it even starts following him around. Robert Florey (MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE) directed this twisted tale, which vividly portrays the terrors of gambling addiction.
