Movie Info

International action star Jackie Chan stars opposite knockabout comedy sensation Jackie Chan in this story about identical twins separated in childhood who are unexpectedly reunited years later. While on the run from a Hong Kong hospital, an escaped convict takes an infant hostage, leaving the baby's identical twin brother behind. While the criminal is soon back behind bars, the police can't find the baby, who was hidden in the woods. The child is found by a well-meaning but hard-drinking woman

High-spirited entertainment!

Having two directors, and a different choreographer for each fight sequence, gives the movie a split personality -- and neither personality is particularly enjoyable to meet.

Amusing all the way and not something Chan fans should skip.

It's all pretty dumb, but if you're in the mood for this sort of thing, you won't have a bad time.

The emphasis here is on farce rather than action, to an extent that may disappoint hard-core martial arts fanatics.

Heavy on the comedy, but the climactic fight scene is a Chan classic.

...almost painful to watch. It's even harder to listen to, with such absurd lines as 'you're just a God-darn loser!' and 'don't be uptight!' popping out of the actors' mouths.

Concentrates more on Chan's comedy than his kung fu.

Among the Jackie Chan films, this one is probably one of the silliest and lamest.

It's hard to imagine why it took two reputable directors to put together this dopey affair!

TV Guide's Movie Guide

For a movie directed by two Hong Kong legends, Tsui Hark and Ringo Lam, Twin Dragons drags!

While diverting, remains one of Chan's more minor efforts.

Singularly unwatchable!

Like most of Chan's other older films, this one's filled with plenty of amazing fight scenes, but also laughably bad English dubbing, mediocre acting at best, and a throwaway script designed only as a sparse skeleton upon which to hang the elaborate fight

The stunts are daunting and the romantic thread gets a huge boost from Cheung and Li as the love interests.

Audience Reviews for Twin Dragons (Shuang long hui) (Brother vs. Brother)

This movie is hilarious and highly entertaining. Like most of Jackie Chan's movies, this is an action slapstick comedy adventure. The idea for this one is that he has a twin, so we get twice the fun. I really enjoyed this one, it's one of my favorite movies of his.

Jackie Chan was really fantastic playing as duel role and made some excellent stuntwork and a hilarious endbattle in a car manufacturing plant.

Jackie Chan is ok, but this is clearly not his best work. Excellent stuntwork and a hilarious end battle in a car manufacturing plant. Unlike most of Jackie Chan's movies, yhis movie had a plot.
