This set contains parts one and two of the popular UKULELE FOR KIDS series, which teaches kids all they need to know to start playing the ukulele through fun, playful lessons. In volume one, Marcy Marxer and her puppet dog Ginger introduce the different parts of the ukulele, demonstrating how to hold it, and how to tune it. After explaining the five basic chords, Marcy offers viewers some songs to try, including "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and the ever-popular "On Top of Spaghetti." In the second volume, Marcy and Ginger are back to teach children more about this instrument, including five new chords and several different strumming methods. Like in the first volume, children are helped along the way by on-screen guides that indicate the correct fingering. "Buffalo Gals" and "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" are just a couple of the featured new tunes. [More]
