In this comedy, a hotel becomes a chaotic place during the 1938 filming of The Wizard of Oz, when it is inundated with groups of midgets, secret agents, and Nazi and Japanese spies.

Critic Reviews for Under the Rainbow
This movie is in desperate need of an ace farceur like Preston Sturges.
Mr. Rash has earnestness and a touch of eccentricity, but he doesn't have the lighthearted wit to keep this kind of comedy working.
I maintain that, while it may be a failure, it's an ambitious failure.
Audience Reviews for Under the Rainbow
Under the Rainbow, have a interesting plot, but the screenplay is not creative and the humor is too silly.
While this comedy is not quite jam-packed with laughs, it certainly keeps your interest. Set in 1938, the impossible story centres around the making of The Wizard of Oz, assassination attempts on a duke and duchess, the nefarious doings of Nazi and Japanese spies prior to World War II, and the life span of a dog named Streudel.
Terrible and unfunny.
