Summary
Over the past few days, we've tried to counter the common misconception that this summer's cinematic fare was bereft of quality. However, that doesn't mean the season was without some stinkers, at least critically speaking. Back to Article

LampEft writes: on Oct 07 2005 07:33 AM I've heard from various people that Fantastic Four is tolerable, even somewhat fun, if you accept it for what it is: a goofy, dopey superhero movie not to be taken too seriously. I'll probably watch it on DVD. (Reply to this) |

It was better than any horror movie this year and I dont know why it got a low score. I also thought Dukes of Hazzard was good although I am a big fan of the shows re-runs. (Reply to this) |

SuperS writes: on Oct 07 2005 04:07 PM omg Dukes of Hazzard could not of possibly done better.. In that way... This is the best it could reach in the TomatoMeter.... theres no way it could of gotten higher. I do not agree that House of Wax was the scariet horror flick this year. There were many good ones, if not, weird ones. 1. The Devils Rejects 2. High Tension And other that were somewhat better. (Reply to this) |

Paul_Is_Drunk writes: on Oct 08 2005 02:34 AM I believe Fantastic Four was the highest grosser on this list. I still say it wasn't bad, just uninspired. A good rehash of an old formula. (Reply to this) |

HoneycombSAFARI writes: on Oct 08 2005 11:46 PM In reply to this comment (#826479) i completely agree with Sportswitz. House of wax was a good movie in my opinion and i believe that if one person finds a movie worthwhile then whose to say its crap? exactly- balding old virginal film critics with no life, no friends and a failed film career for themselves.
