MTV Unplugged does not normally travel outside of the pop/rock genres for its showcase of acoustic performances. On the rare occasions that it does however, it is definitely worth the effort. UPTOWN MTV UNPLUGGED, which includes performances from a variety or very diverse urban artists, is an example of this. The soothing rhythm and blues of Jodeci, the danceable soul-pop of Mary J. Blige, and the good-natured hop hop of Heavy D are all highlights of this wonderful set of performances. Includes
