Uri dongne (Our Town) (2007)
How many multiple murderers are stalking the innocent in this gory thriller? Jae-shin (Lee Seon-gyun) is a police detective in an ordinary South Korean community that's been gripped with fear ever since a serial killer set up business in town. Roughly once a month, a woman's mutilated body is found somewhere in the city, and Jae-shin is trying to find the culprit before they can kill again. Jae-shin often commiserates with Gyeong-ju (Oh Man-seok), a close friend since childhood who pens crime novels when he isn't too drunk to write; what Jae-shin doesn't know is that Gyeong-ju has been given to increasingly violent fantasies, and recently murdered his landlady in a crime the detective imagines was the work of a copy-cat. But Gyeong-ju isn't the only potential serial killer walking the streets of the town; Hyo-i (Ryu Deok-hwan), a local shopkeeper and passing acquaintance of Gyeong-ju, is slipping into madness and has killed the dog that for years was his closest companion. Uri Dongne (aka Our Town) was the first feature film from director Jeong Gil-yeong. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi … More

Pff, I've seen this movie two weeks ago, and I can't even remember what it was about. If you really have nothing better to do you could consider watching it..More
Excellent crime/serial killer thriller from South Korea. A murderer takes it upon himself to hunt down a serial killer in a small town. It may get melodramatic at times, but this is a very well written film that takes a different approach to most serial killer flicks.More
