It becomes just another taste of every comic-book movie that isn't Sin City or A History of Violence. Vapid.
Really? This surpasses both of those movies in regards to having a balance between the comic book feel and a sense of seriousness. There is so much symbolism in many of the scenes, and the plot and the action flow so organically. The level of seriousness in this movie rises above almost any PG13 comic book based movie, like spider man or fucking avengers, but doesn't stray too far like A History of Violence. It retains an extroadinary amount of optimism, while still expressing serious images and ideas, that seem realistic in nature. I can't believe people pay you money to make such a shallow review
