Yeah, have u seen no country for old men? while it was decent enough, it has no mass apeal what so ever, oscars, excluding gladiator and titanic, do not translate to box office success

No, the article says that "Spiderwick Chronicles" is playing out like those two previous President's Day Family Films w/ a solid opening gross and decent holds that would lead to a solid (but unremarkable) sub-100 million gross.

It's to bad that Charlie Bartlett did so bad I though it was a pretty good enjoyable movie(B), I also saw Definitely, Mabey(B ) which is the best film I've seen in this young year so far.

It will and should get a wide-release. I saw it yesterday and theater was full.
It was better than what I thought it would be. The whole cast was exceptional(even Mos Def). One of the better films I've seen in a while.
