Jackie Zelinski (Monica Serene Garnich) is a smart, beautiful forest ranger who falls in love with free-spirited artist Hendrix O'Hara (Jonathan Aube) after rescuing him from a near-deadly motorcycle accident. But the couple's blossoming romance is soon threatened by the disapproval of their dysfunctional families, which includes Jackie's alcoholic father Sam (Miguel Perez) and Hendrix's extremely jealous ex-wife Honey (Jennifer Gareis).
