A tale of mistaken identity and missed connections set in the populous Mexico City, Nicholas Echevarria's romantic comedy follows a radio host name Silvia (Susana Zableta), who may or may not have discovered true love in starving artist Diego (Daniel Giminez Cacho). A misunderstanding leads her to believe that Diego is a famous author, and he uses this to his advantage in order to seduce her. The two spend a passionate night together as he maintains his false identity, but in the morning when Silvia discovers the truth she is furious and storms out. Both are haunted by the possibility that they have missed out on true love, however, and wonder what they might have missed out on, both are inspired to work at giving their romance another shot.
