@rqm4adrm- So just because he likes a film that you do not, it means that he is a whore?

No moviedork. Pete Hammond is a complete piece of shit who for the right amount of money will say anything you want him to. Allegedly.

There is no reason to rip on Pete Hammond for disagrreing with your taste in film. Just because his opinion varies, doesn't mean that he is a piece of shit. Maybe he just looks at some movies for what they are. I bet you that if he was saying this about a movie like Inception or The Social Network, then no one would care if he liked it or not, but when he enjoy's a movie that a lot of people do not like, people start to ridicule him. It's pretty immature.

Just do a search for "Pete Hammond quote whore"... the man says "THE BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!" like ten times a year... and usually adds a really bad cheesy pun in an attempt to get his quote onto DVD/trailer. I applaud you for defending free speech but Hammond is an integrity free studio shill.

Isn't Boxoffice Magazine that little pamphlet cable offices give out for free listing upcoming movies on their channels?

Anyway, I agree with Pete. This original love story of a guy who knew a girl when he was a child and then stalks her for all his adult life is certainly pure and refreshing. He's not disturbed at all for giving up his car, his job and his home for a woman who doesn't know he exists. Anyone would do it... for LOVE.

Thank you, Hammond, for not being a jaded, soulless critic like the rest of these damn cynics.
