RT and Sony Presents the First 10 Minutes of Walk Hard!
Take your hand and check out the clip.

After turning Knocked Up and Superbad into box office gold this year, are you guys ready for one last bout of comedy from Judd Apatow and the gang? The Apatow-produced Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is out in theaters December 21st, but for those who want a taste now, Rotten Tomatoes and Sony Pictures have got your number: Click this link for the first 10 minutes (warning: age-restricted!) of Walk Hard!

Directed by Jake Kasdan (Zero Effect, The TV Set) and featuring John C. Reilly, Jenna Fischer, and a glut of cameos, Walk Hard has little of the loose improvisational comedy Apatow's (or even Kasdan's) other flicks. Instead, it's a snappy, absurdist spoof on musical biopics played straight by the actors. It's a rather delicate new subgenre the filmmakers seem to have created: melodramas about kids getting sliced in half by machetes and people barfing at doo wop concerts.

Click here for the 10 minute clip, which will play after you enter your date of birth. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story will be in theaters on December 21st.

The straight-played comedy took a few minutes to get used to. But seeing the 14-year-old Dewey and his 12-year-old girlfriend was pretty funny. Gonna listen to the soundtrack right now!

Not bad.

Seems much better than the trailer made it out to be.

I just... wow, I don't know.

I think I want to like this way more than I actually do.

It seems better than, say, a Scary Movie or Date Movie type spoof, but that wasn't as enjoyable as I had hoped.

Wow I'm sorry you guys didn't like it. I personally thought the first ten minutes looked great and can't wait for the rest.

Looks like it could be good. I would have rated that material PG-13, but I suppose they have to restrict it since the movie itself is R.

Am I the only person that thinks John C. Reilly doesn't work as a comedic actor?

How would the brother want to be an astronaut in 1946?

John C Reilly is the man...but if this is anything like that load of crap that was Talladega Nights, count me out

Looks better than I thought.

Oh my God, that was hilarious. I hated Walk the Line with a burning passion, it's about time music biopics got the ***** slap they deserve.

John C Riley does not work as this kind of comedic actor, hes just naturally funny in things like Magnolia, Boogie Nights, and so many other flicks, in this an things piles of crap like Talladega Nights his comedic acting is just too damn forced and incredibly lame.

I like it. The comedy is a little forced, but it looks like they are generally trying to make a good film about crap. The cinematography looks surprisingly pretty good. Which is pretty funny.

JCR's done some great work and I would love to caress Jenna Fischer, but this...well, sucked.

Yeah, this isn't great.

I mean, it's miles better than stuff like Date Movie, but I just hope it's better than Talladega Nights.

I'm just curious-how come you didn't like Walk the Line? I thought it was great and was incredibly angry that it didn't get a best picture nomination at least.
