WALL-E is a classic, but it will never appeal to people who are happy with art only when it has as little bite as possible.

Oh wow. It still amazes me everytime I meet a new ignorant person, although I suspect by now it should. The Dark Knight Fan 1- if you had taken the time to actually read the review, you would save yourself the trouble of writing all those little *'s. He isn't claiming that Wall-E is a bad movie, by any means. He's simply saying that people who need more, bigger, better from films (more "bite") won't appreciate the movie. Hopefully you will choose to think before you speak, otherwise I bet you will land yourself in trouble with your mouth more often than not. Also, you should consider changing your user name- you are giving a great movie a bad rep.

He's hacked that Wall-E got a fresh and TDK did not from this reviewer. In other words, TDK > Wall-E so TDK couldn't be rotten.
Honestly, the argument is crap, since they are entirely different movies, and it would be entirely possible to like one and dislike the other since there is really no common theme for comparison.
I've read his TDK review and the Wall-E review and they both seem like reasonable perspectives, although since I haven't seen TDK I can't critique any inaccuracies. At least they were both reasonably well-written reviews and stuck to the movies on their own merits versus the rampant political spins that we've seen in other reviews.
