Even at 95 minutes the film is often too slow and just not rewarding enough.

Director Penelope Spheeris, with her first major studio assignment (and eight-figure budget), delivers a colorful but uneventful picture.

Wears out its welcome after awhile and is never quite as funny as it thinks it is.

The film tends to be funny when confining itself to short sketches or dopey television-based humor, flat when pretending to be anything more.

Incredibly lowbrow, but many teens will love it.

Like the Bill & Ted movies, this one works on its intended level and then sneaks in excursions to some other levels, too.

Myers and Carvey cut it up on the rare Saturday Night Live skit that shines on the silver screen.

Though it appears to be a brain-dead comedy, it at least has a little something to say about American suburbia in the 1990s -- a specialty of director Penelope Spheeris.

Filme engraçado e jovial, faz críticas sociais em piadas hilárias que funcionam muito bem. Carvey é especialmente engraçado, mas Myers também se destaca em várias cenas.
