People are really over exaggerating. Movie actually had had some hilarious scenes and the cast was great. Was it a Comedy masterpiece? No. But, it was funny in some parts. To compare to Movie 43 is just stupid, that "movie" is one of the worst things to ever grace a movie theater screen.
Sep 9 - 08:06 PM
How have 81% of the audience found this funny. I watched it and it was a piece of shit.
Aug 11 - 06:57 AM
Dude, it was so bad. I'd rather play naked Twister with every one of the Golden Girls than watch this again.
Aug 9 - 04:51 PM
Oh and Jennifer Anniston has multiple stripper scenes with her in lingerie. Cant go wrong.
Aug 7 - 05:57 PM
The Critics are saying that this movie is very offensive and crude on many levels so as of right now it has a score of 33%. But the whole lets do good deeds to get into heaven bit in This is the End wasnt offensive and they gave it an 84%? Dont get my wrong I loved This is the End but Critics literally make no fucking sense. I saw We're the Millers last night and i thought it was fucking hilarious. It has some slow parts but in the end its a funny ass movie. In my eyes it really deserves better than a 33%. The Heat has a 66% for god sakes and that movie was just as offensive as this one and way shittier in my opinion. My point is go see it because you will laugh. Critics are fucking retards when it comes to rating comedies. Fucking Anchorman only got a 66% and its one of the best comedies ever made.
Aug 7 - 05:56 PM
I saw This Is The End and while it was extremely funny, some parts were difficult even for my open-minded Christian self to stomach. I thought the trailer for We're The Millers looks funny, and I hope once I go see it tomorrow, it'll prove to be a good movie - or at least worth $8.50. I completely agree with you, and I'm sure I will even more once I see the movie. These critics make no sense. Millers critic rating is 41%, yet has a viewer rating of 84%. That's a pretty hefty difference.
Aug 13 - 01:55 PM
well the heat has a 66%, this is the end has a 84, and the world's end has a 92%. They aren't that harsh
Aug 6 - 08:29 AM
This is what i'm talking about, these critics rate comedies so harshly, and have no funny bone in their body whatsoever. This movie does not deserve a 20% unless they're just aiming to hate on Jason Sudekis who may be one of the funniest comedian actors out there. Comedies are to make you laugh not think about a plot, if it makes you laugh then its certified fresh.
Aug 6 - 08:05 AM
57% A mildly amusing diversion which fails to stand out from the pack of R rated comedies.
Aug 5 - 04:43 PM
32%. Suffers from tonal inconsistencies and lack-of-humor that plagued "Identity Thief" (21%) and like that film and other late-August comedy "The Change-Up (25%), "We're The Millers" is unnecessarily vulgar with almost no laughs and mean-spirited throughout, then decides in the third act to try and get sappy and sentimental. The jokes are lazy shots at easy targets that linger on longer than they should, not to mention the film is overlong at almost 2 hours. The three-to-four laughs it has will put it at a higher Tomatometer than the other films mentioned, but not by much, and I'm being generous. Plus, the critic blurbs on the TV spot are from people I've never heard of, which usually means they're reaching to find positive reviews.
Aug 5 - 01:42 AM
Comedies that have alot of hype usually are well reviewed and audience favs! But why are their no early reviews yet? That's not good unless their coming later today!
Aug 4 - 11:00 PM
I think a 70 to 75 would be good. It doesn't look horrid, and looks way better than Percy Jackson, Planes.
Aug 4 - 04:49 PM
I give it an optimistic 80%, only because everything else out sucks major doo-doo and I'd really like to see a good film before summer ends.
Aug 4 - 12:59 AM
34. How many times can Jen be in a movie using the same three faces. There's the squinty perplexed look she does, the open mouth and wide-eyed oh my God look and the sad sack face. That is the scope of her acting. I always make a bet with my friends on her movies. We watch them on DVD or TV when they come out and then bet on how many of each of these faces she makes. When you watch, or it you watch this movie, take notice of the same facial expressions and how often. At least you can entertain yourself that way in one of her always lame movies.
Aug 2 - 05:34 PM
I'll be optimistic and say 67%. The trailer is hilarious, so I'll see it whatever the critics think.
Jul 31 - 10:02 AM
Seeing as the critics now-a-days believe that comedies must have the best storylines or plots to be qualified as great movies I can see this landing anywhere from a 30-40. Granted if its a comedy, its a good movie if it fulfills it's sole purpose, which is in fact to make us laugh. This looks like a hilarious movie, and I hope it can come across just as good as This Is the End which go a remarkable 84% for a comedy. Lets hope this follows suit
Jul 30 - 03:35 PM
69% "Despite some tonal inconsistencies and a few gags that don't work, it's worth the 1 hr. 49 min. run-time."
Saw it last night; some problems, but much better than it looks.
Jul 26 - 08:42 AM
34% critics. With NY Post and Time Out giving glowing reviews.
58% audience, if Jen can get her rabid fans to log in and vote.
Jul 17 - 09:41 AM
68%: It suffers from some flaws, but We're the Millers is otherwise a funny movie, and many viewers will come out satisfied.
Jul 16 - 07:19 PM
27% "Aniston and Sudeikis do the best they can with what they have, but We're the Millers suffers from a dull and predictable script as well as little to no laughs."
Jun 6 - 09:38 AM
56% It succeeds with some great acting, but "We're The Millers" fails with a dull script.
