on Sep 07 2009 11:55 PM Really, how in the world can you possibly pose as a film critic and say this film is rotten? Were you ever educated in film or theater? Do you have a degree in theater at all? Or are you a journalist poser who could not find a job elsewhere and decided film critic was the easiest way to go. There is NO WAY in the world anyone with any degree of theater or film knowledge would ever argue that this was not one of the best musicals ever brought to the stage or film. Do you even have an inkling of the phenomenon this film brought to cinema at the time of it's release? Do you know the history or the relevance of this film? This film is a masterpiece, hands down, no argument! I mean please! I was born in the 70's and I EVEN know the relevance of this film! You are an idiot! You should never review another movie ever. If you are a Gen Y reviewer, then learn your film history before you attack this masterpiece. If you are older than that, then hang up your credentials and forget yourself as a serious film "expert". You should never write another review or ever be taken seriously as a critic. You have no sense of art or literature or drama or the stage or film. (Reply to this) |
