Movie Info

The nexus point between science and spirituality is further pondered in this follow-up to the sleeper hit What the #$*! Do We Know?! Expanding on the first film's exploration of quantum mechanics, neuro-biology, and human consciousness, What the Bleep!? -- Down the Rabbit Hole continues to follow Amanda (Marlee Matlin) in her search for actualization and new ways to mold her own reality. Walking through a world altered by digital animation that's used to illustrate the theories and philosophies expressed in the film, Amanda's search is also accompanied by interviews with scientists, authors, and thinkers who share their views on human consciousness, physics, emotions, and spirituality. Along with appearances by most of the speakers who appeared in the first film, What the Bleep!? -- Down the Rabbit Hole also features new conversations with Dr. Masaru Emoto and Dean Radin.more

While it does render scientific and philosophical principles in a highly accessible format, the film is nonetheless a real chore to sit through, especially in this version, weighing in at more than 2 1⁄2 hours.

With a schlockmeister's showmanship, the directors have simply taken the old film, cut in other footage and outtakes, and re-released it as a different picture.

Audience Reviews for What the Bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole

The superior version of this work if your interest was piqued by the theatrical cut. A great assembly of interviews and instructional visuals on the topic of quantum mechanics / quantum physics and touches on related or sub topics such as reality, neurology, physiology, evolution, perception, consciousness, religion, vortices, black holes, time, and parallel dimensions.

excellent content, but very preachy and often times mistakes its own philosophy for fact which causes many arguments to be spurious even though they are making a good point.

cool. definitely something to consider. add some more case studies some alan watts, joesph campbell, robert anton wilson and c.g. jung and you're almost half way there.
