After just 30 minutes of "Whipped," you either want to hose down the screen with Lysol or dip yourself in bleach. It's that offensive, that rotten, and it easily stands as the worst film in years.

Funny at times, but never makes you care.

...after a while, the whole thing just becomes tiresome.
Amazingly, humor in the movies has become so much cruder and ruder in the past two years that "Whipped" already seems about as scandalous as "Getting Gertie's Garter"...
If you're looking for a biting satire and smart commentary on male sexual misadventure, steer away from this movie.

[Cohen's] insights are as worthless as a lecher's promise and the issues he raises as stale as a couch crumb.
| Original Score: 0.5/5
The movie shifts so quickly into cliché, and then morphs into a poorly conceived and bleakly misanthropic morality tale.
There is no character development; these guys are all adolescent libido and nothing else. Cohen's writing never delivers anything resembling real human interaction or connection.
By the end of this mercifully brief (82 minutes!) saga, everything, and everyone, has been reduced to the lowest common denominator.
One stinky, plug-ugly movie.
It has all the insight into the battle of the sexes of a tire commercial, with noticeably less wit and taste than most.
A nasty, cynical trudge through the male-female battlefield.
Leaves you with the feeling of having at last escaped a numbing experience, trapped in the company of people too pathetic to be amusing.
| Original Score: 0.5/5
It isn't every sex comedy that leaves you needing a cold shower; rarer still is the sex comedy that leaves you desperate for a hot one.
| Original Score: 1.5/5
Hang out at a frat house or sports bar, and you can hear this kind of talk for free.
[Peet's] all but wasted in a movie that professes truth but is really about cheap laughs drawn from ugly behavior.
The posture is meant to be modern and liberal-minded, but it's probably just another way of patronizing women.
This movie hates women, men, heterosexuals, homosexuals, the idea of friendship, love and every other decent human impulse a person might think of having.
Fails miserably at every turn.
| Original Score: 1.5/4
Some of the unpleasant moments are funny, some not, but it isn't realistic enough to have an impact and not stylish enough to be seductive even at its most amusing.
