Movie Info

Robert Evans (William S. Hart) is a millworker who goes to owner Henry Chapple (Frank Brownlee) in an effort to have some faulty machinery fixed that may have caused a worker's death. Chapple refuses, stating time and money as the factors against the move. When Robert's son is killed at the mill, Robert kidnaps the owner's son after he saves him from drowning. He places the boy with his sister, saving the boy from a callous father who is indifferent to the needs of the beleaguered mill workers.
