  • Wholphin #6 includes an award- winning, twisted tale of love and pranks - complete with spiders and a startling ending that is sure to surprise; a class of Chinese 3rd Graders' democratic election for classroom monitor that ends up hilariously, if unintentionally, mocking 300 years of American Politics; a beautifully black, comic exploration of 70s England that isn't, but could easily be, the prequel to A Clockwork Orange; an exquisite adaptation of an Elmore Leonard short story; a lost episode from the intensely odd historical docu-comedy series that explores how magic realism, and items growing in the Australian outback, can be used to keep junk cars running (an indigenous aborigine version of "Car Talk," but with an ethnic consciousness); a brilliant meditation on the perils of youth fashion and friendship co-starring a miniature seeing-eye dwarf horse. And of course, issue 6 will have definitive filmed proof of extra-terrestrial life in the universe.
