Nice to see Jennifer Connelly, but why'd she have to bring her albino husband along? It makes it harder to imagine myself with her while he's there too.

I'm really interested in what twisted people and creatures Guillermo Del Toro and Clive Barker can create for this movie. If its anything like Undying or Pan's Labyrinth I'll be keeping tabs on this movie.

Interesting. Barker and del Toror are both twisted geniuses. They have a gift for creating supernatural creatures. Jennifer Connelly is a good choice; not so certain about Paul Bettany.

This sounds good, but bettany is only good in creepy roles. He plays those feeble looking men that somehow touch your uvula. If I saw him in the street, I wouldn't touch him with a stick.

Recently when couples make a movie together, the movie usually sucks. Not true of course with Hepburn, etc., but true of . . .well

GIGLI ANYONE?

I loved the first Hellraiser. It'll be interesting what 2 people who can direct will come up with.

I know I'm probably going to get bashed by Del Toro fans and Barkers fans for saying this but...

This sounds like a disaster.

You may be right about it being a disaster. Few of Barker's creepier stories have been treated well when made into film. Del Toro at least thinks along the right twisted lines to do a Barker story justice, but I think they would be better matched doing Weaveworld than this story. With the claymation angle we might end up with something reminiscent of the first Evil Dead but without the comedy.

I hope they have creatures in this movie, because Del Toro is the king of fiction creatureas.
