When Tigger doesn't appear to want to help the gang build a home for Eeyore, the donkey, Rabbit suggests he leave them behind and spend some time with other "tiggers." Convinced that he's the only Tigger in the world, he goes on a quest to find out if he is, in fact, an original, eventually learning a very valuable lesson in the process: there's no place like home. Featuring songs by the Sherman Brothers (MARY POPPINS, THE JUNGLE BOOK). Both the VHS and DVD releases include a special music video by Kenny Loggins. [More]

Reviews for Winnie the Pooh - The Tigger Movie
Anybody who first saw Tigger and learned the wonderful things about him more than 20 years ago is going to feel great, as will the very young who have been raised on Pooh and Co., one of the few cartoons that avoids hostility and violence.
He (Writer-director Jun Falkenstein) brings out the best in each of these adored characters.
There's something about The Tigger Movie that exemplifies the subpar state of movies today.
tender heartwarming climax and resolution may just choke you up a bit in the Adam's apple
Call me a sentimentalist, but I like to think of Pooh as more than just a marketable brand-name.
A kid flick the little ones will doubtless adore yet also provide old-timers with enough moments of wit and visual magic.
The magical world of Pooh is always delightful to watch, even through a dirty lens.
They (grown-ups) need to pretend to be little kids again, so they won't make too much fuss over a plot and 'message' that are ultra-simple and far from original.
