WITNESS AGAINST... In January 1945, Helmuth James von Moltke, a dashing young aristocrat, was hanged in his native Germany, condemned for his refusal to collaborate with Hitler's genocidal program. WITNESS AGAINST HITLER is a gripping dramatization of von Moltke's inspiring story. James Wilby is stirring in the role of the hero, a lawyer who used his international connections to help Jews escape from the Nazis. After successfully preventing the murder of hundreds of Jews over the course of several months, von Moltke was detained and arrested by the SS and finally sentenced to death by a Nazi judge (played here by the renowned British actor Brian Cox). Von Moltke was a devout Christian and faithful follower of God until the end, and his heroic story is sure to inspire and educate. [More]
