Whatever actually happened, the explosions all go off on time, which in a film like this is all that really matters.

It's nice sometime to find a review like this, amongst the unwavering pretentiousness of the modern movie reviewer, someone who goes into an X-Men movie and doesn't come out disappointed because it didn't have the dramatic narrative of an American Beauty or the acting of a Charlie Kaufman film. Thank you Mr. Turan for watching the film and enjoying it for exactly what it was, a comic book action flick.

I especially enjoyed his slow motion walk away with the exploding helicopter behind him. So original.

I don't think it sounds like he *likes* the movie, but that he'll abide it because he's not expecting much from "a film like this." It's passable if you like films that don't particularly have much to offer in the first place.
