Metafact writes: on Jun 10 2007 05:13 PM Prospective Wolverine Director: Meh, I suppose he'll do. The only really successful film on DJ Caruso's resume is Disturbia, which was good but not great. Their backup is Len Wiseman, whose known by most people as the Underworld guy. Both choices seem decent, but neither is anything to get excited about. Shreks Four and Five Set: Ugh, do we really need two more of those?!? I mean, Shrek the Third sucked as it is, I can't even imagine how far the filmmakers will flush this franchise down the toilet before they leave it alone. New Site and Poster for Halloween: I honestly have no faith in this needless remake. Rob Zombie does not have the talent (yet) to tackle a project like this, and early script reviews have indicated that this will be a "sympathetic" take on Michael Myers, which is just pathetic. I will agree that the poster is well done, but I would rather see this project either scrapped or put in the hands of someone more capable. G.I. Joe is Coming: I remember reading a review of the G.I. Joe script from the Latino Review website about a month ago...and it wasn't good. You can read it yourself at - W (Reply to this) |

Elixor writes: on Jun 11 2007 05:35 AM Unfortunately nothing gets left alone until it is beaten into the ground, dug back up, and beaten some more. Unfortunately, as long as we keep paying to see that dead horse being beat on, that's what we get. I actually enjoyed the third Die Hard more than the first two, but I admit that these movies are getting a little too old. One sequel/remake that I'd actually like to see, but I'm affraid of what will be done with it, is a new Tron movie. With a good director/producer pair, I think that this would have potential. They'd have to keep the virtual world looking similar to the old movie (which you know they'd be itching to 'improve', but make worse), but I see potential here. Wasn't there even rumors of this in the past, or am I mistaken? (Reply to this) |
