When his estranged mother dies, he attends her funeral and is surprised to run into ex-girlfriend Zane Douglas (Penelope Ann Miller). But Houston's surprise soon morphs into shock as he learns that Zane and his mother were lovers and that she is the one set to inherit the family estate.
