I used to trust tomatometer and critics, until 94% from dark knight. And again in World War Z critics have bought by movie industry to advertise their garbage.
Jun 27 - 04:43 AM
I believe it be somewhere 55-63 at the end. Man of Steel probably be better movie but Brad Pitt will sell this to a lot of critics as well.
Jun 19 - 12:02 PM
67% "Despite some flaws and some generic filler World War Z is a strong popcorn-action flick that manages to have intense action and solid acting."
Jun 19 - 06:43 AM
This movie was AWFUL...I just saw it...it should get a 26%...but with the pro-UN message, it might get an easy pass from New York and LA reviewers...

"Same zombie shit disguised as an epic. Don't let it fool you; it's just another zombie rampage video game movie."

"Probably the most action-packed zombie movie ever made, World War Z benefits from solid pacing, fine directing, and a charismatic performance from Brad Pitt"
Jun 18 - 06:54 AM
52-60. There will be plenty of reviews who dont care about the book but a zombie movie not being an r rated movie. Umm ok
Jun 17 - 07:19 AM
73-82% It's probably going to be this year's blockbuster, along with Man of Steel.

Brad Pitt will give a good performance but Marc Forster gives me a reason for concern so I'm being a bit optimistic here.
Jun 6 - 11:52 PM
41%, I'm getting kind of tired of the Zombie genre at the moment, plus the fact that it's PG-13 and has Marc Forster Directing leaves me thinking that it'll be pretty bad.
Jun 4 - 02:52 PM
75%, "'World War Z' delivers an unbelievable set of action sequences, with great effects and it's boulstered by a great turn from Brad Pitt, but it lacks the strength and shock of the original novel".
Jun 4 - 12:53 PM
A couple of reviews actually try to justify the fact that its nothing like the book, bad way to start early reviews.
Jun 3 - 02:34 PM
80% right now and a 6/10 average... It seems to be faring much more positively than most thought... After all, some saw it as a new "Battleship"...
Jun 3 - 01:13 PM
Keep in mind these are just early reviews, the Movie hasnt gotten a north America release yet, the reason for that is because they KNOW its going to bomb.
Jun 3 - 02:32 PM
Do you know anything about theatrical releases? Blockbusters are always released worldwide prior to North American release because around 80% of box office earnings happen outside of the U.S.
Maybe read some financial news instead of spending all your time on here trolling others...
Jun 4 - 09:14 AM
My guess is:
Critics 68%
Audience 89%
I hope it's amazing, or the summer is all about Man of Steel.....and perhaps Pacific Rim!
Jun 2 - 11:28 AM
87% the swarming... it felt like what we saw of the last days in Vietnam... I've never seen or heard of a scary zombie movie, until this one. First trailer of my life to actually cause me to feel fear.
Jun 1 - 04:51 AM
Wow, then maybe you should probably get off the internet and experience life more.
If a trailer for a movie actually made you feel fear then i dont know what youll feel when the shit really hits the fan.
Jun 3 - 02:33 PM
It'll be somewhere in the 60's or 70's. Each new trailer I see lowers my expectations. "While not following the book at all and therefore not as fresh and exciting, World War Z still manages to be a very entertaining zombie movie with tons of action and a great performance by Brad Pitt"
May 29 - 01:36 PM
Since the third act was rewritten on short notice and an additional 30-40 minutes had to be shot in order to make the ending more "coherent" and less "abrupt," I say 53% or less. I could be wrong, though. I really hope this movie blows me away.
May 27 - 08:41 PM
Brad Pitt is a good actor, it's a good book, and the director has been able to keep his movies at mostly fresh with a high of 85. I'd say from 50-90%
May 22 - 08:41 PM
Yes yes, you've said that like 8 times already. Go read your book again. A movie named after a book does not need to be exactly like or even anything like a book. Reading is never a requirement for a movie. Honestly If they'd have turned the book into a move exactly like the book it would have been boring and bombed, unlike this movie.

I'm starting to think this one could be good. No reviews yet, but Peter Travers seems to like it - http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/lists/summer-movie-preview-2013-20130507/world-war-z-19691231#ixzz2TP2aJONK.
May 19 - 09:14 AM
You think that because a guy from Rolling Stone liked it its going to be good....
ITS THE ROLLING STONE!!! Of course they "like it" their magazine is used to sell product, WWZ is Product to sell and people need to believe its good.
May 31 - 07:30 PM
well, considering the book was a series of multiple vignettes, I can't see how a movie could capture all the personal stories. As a movie it must focus on action instead. still, the trailers look good.

"Same rehashed zombie bull shit hokum; skip it. It's not worth the time or the brain cells... if you even have brain cells."
May 12 - 08:47 PM
What a thought provoking post. Oh and I'll say in the upper 50's- low 60's. Which would honestly be a miracle after all of the trouble this went through during production.
