RT on DVD & Blu-Ray: Wreck-It Ralph and Red Dawn

Summary

This week on home video, we've got at least one Oscar nominee in the mix (Wreck-It Ralph), but it's balanced out by a couple of duds, including an unnecessary 1980s remake and another failed Gerard Butler rom-com. Then, we've also got a French import that broke records overseas and Barry Levinon's effective found footage horror movie. To top it all off, we've got a couple of notable reissues, including a Freddy Kreuger collection to die for. Click through for the full list! Back to Article

I think that:
-WRECK-IT RALPH is one of the best animated movies ever.
-SCHINDLER'S LIST and THE INTOUCHABLES are good but not as much as others say.
-RED DAWN is slightly better than the original. And by "better" of course I mean "less bad".

Getting Wreck-It Ralph on Blu Ray 3D for sure! One of the best animated movies ever!

Although Wreck-It-Ralph didn't win at the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, but I'd say it's still a winner. Buy It.

Nothing new this week for me. I'd better buy the original Red Dawn rather than watching a disapproved reboot. And I used to love Gerald Butler, but not anymore. First, Chasing Mavericks and now Playing for Keeps. I'm still waiting for a 300 sequel.

I haven't seen Schindler's List, but I'm glad this year marks the 20th anniversary. Buy It.

You don't have to wait long for a sequel. One is coming this summer actually. Sadly it does not star Gerard Butler though.

You're right. I hope they should make one soon as long as Butler could make some more crappy movies and fails miserably.

I was really hoping to get "Wreck-It Ralph" from Redbox, because I'm not sure it's worth owning (I found it entertaining and sweet, yet a little underwhelming in the second half). None of the other films interest me much.

This is what should've happened:
Merida coming up and accepting the award, when during her acceptance, Ted says "Yo Merida, I'm really happy for you, and Imma let you finish..."

I hear great things about Wreck-It Ralph so that will be added to my collection. Out of curiosity, I will probably rent the Red Dawn remake because the original Red Dawn is one of my favorite movies believe it or not. The rest of the releases just dont't interest me much. Sorry Gerard Butler!

Does anyone know why "Skyfall" is listed as "New on DVD This Week" on the main page?

Maybe because now it's available for rental on Netflix? I dunno.

The listing is a mistake, as Skyfall actually came out a few weeks ago. The date may have been moved up, and our system may not have updated to account for this.

I don't want to buy 'Wreck It Ralph' but I enjoyed watching it
I'm pretty sure 'The Bay' was already on sale a few months back according to VideoETA.com
I watched it and found it scary, distrubing, grotesque and unsettling, it's rare now that a semi-real found footage horror movie can work these days, Levinson did a decent job while also spreading an environmental message
but I'm not owning it
