Movie InfoClamp, Japan's acclaimed all-female animation group, created this futuristic animated adventure with veteran anime director Rintaro. Part of the reason it moves so slowly is that it takes time to introduce the 20 or so main characters in the film, and it takes some time to show each of these characters being hacked to death with swords.
Earth versus Heaven is always an interesting conflict, but it's seldom looked so beautiful.
An all-female studio made X. However, don't expect any feminist insights: the villainess still has huge jugs . . .

CLAMP's broad appeal with anime fans is beyond me, still to this date. At least everyone gets killed quite fast here. What a waste of X-Japan's Forever Love and "X".More
