I loved the New Mutants comic books. The characters were fun and interesting. I hope they stick with the original team of Cannonball (Sam Guthrie), Sunspot (Roberto), Mirage (Dani Moonstar), and Wolfsbane (Rhane Sinclair). The addition of the alien Warlock and Magik (Ilyana Rasputin) would round out the team. Wolfsbane is my favorite character. The Demon Bear, The Mojoverse, or the Sentinels would be good storylines.

Some of the New Mutants (Cannonball, Sunspot, and Wolfsbane)had cameos in the 2000-2003 animated series X-Men Evolution. I have the whole series on DVD.

Barbie movie and Sweet Valley High movie: Ugh!

Wow, lots of Rotten news this week. The Spy Kids franchise needs to die; the last one was pretty terrible. And Barbie movie= worst idea ever.

None of the X-Men movies were good. None. Not even number 2, its so over rated. I don't think there will ever be a good X-Men movie as long as FOX has their hands on it.

Meh, Cyclops is so vanilla. He used to be my favorite as a kid until I started reading the comics and realized how lame he is as a character. Bring on Havok, all the best elements of Cyclops without the sad wannabe Capt. America downside.

For the villain I'd like to see Mr. Sinister w/Apocalypse as the puppetmaster for this movie leading into him as the main villain in X5 and for the love of God, pay Singer to come back and fix this trainwreck. All the elements are still there if you could get someone competent to bring it all back together.

Finally we agree on something Big Bro! I am an avid X-Factor fan, love the mash up of mutants(Havok, Multiple Man, Strong Guy = Hellboy, QuickSilver, etc.) I thought they should just make a spin off of the new mutants and turn them into X-Factor, it would make sense since Havok is Cyclops' bro - even though you seem to despise Cyclops.

Meh Cyclops is somewhat bland. But they botched him horribly in the film franchise. The basically surgically removed his testicles. I sorely missed the bickering between wolverine and cyclops. They had a little bit in the films but not nearly to the extent of the comics or the animated series back in the 90s.

Considering how catastrophically Bratz crashed and burned, it would be nice if Sweet Valley High provided a bankable counterpoint to Slutz.

The only X-Men bit that caught my eye was "Warlock". Seeing him animated (and not stiffly, as in the 90s cartoon) would be great, especially if he was in the trailer, then I wouldn't have to see the movie! Newscorp isn't listening, right?

Lastly... Thor: The Day The Thunder Failed... hey Greg, are we being prophetic? ; )

personally i don't understand Neve Campbell returning to Scream is a problem. I thought the problem was the proposed remake idea with an entirely new cast.

The thing about the Scream series was it was one of a kind, and very fitting for the time it was released.

The only way another film, yet again another series of films, would work is to have the original main cast (CHECK) as well as writer (CHECK) and director (HOPEFULLY CHECK) to return.

Scream 4 is shaping up to be awesome, and I for one am relieved and excited at the prospect of seeing Ghostface return to film, as well as Sydney, Gale and Dewey. That and a fresh script by original writer Kevin Williamson, i think this is a win.

A sequel to Godzilla is what im waiting for. i guess the 1st zilla movie was well good but short of amazing. And might i add that the Deadpool movie must do good. Wolverine also fell short of that.

SCREAM 4
Movies for the most part are stories about solving problems.
Johh Charles Eichinger (http://www.crimezzz.net/serialkiller_news/E/EICHINGER_john_c.php)
has a problem in the sense girls reject him.

John Charles Eichinger sees SCREAM 3 where a killer who has his same hair color same eye color and glasses just as he solves HIS problems by killing women who spurn him.

John Charles Eichinger HIMSELF murders the women who spurned HIM and wears a Scream Costume with the knife he used to kill his victims around his kneck during Holloween.

John Chaerles Eichinger cites learning how to kill from watching a movie.

If someone has a tendency to blur reality and fantasy and sees a movie that deals with the same issues they're facing, the person may do what they see the character in the movie do.

--- ROTTEN IDEAS . . . yes there ARE more THAN just ONE.

MEGAN FOX . . . say NO to BARBIE
unless of course the movie will turn the BARBIE MYTHOS on its EAR and have MEGAN FOX as Barbie kicking-a'ses and kneeing balls and pushing a''-h'le guys down staircases.

Megan Fox told ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE she wants to still be working in 10 years and NEEDS good roles.

Gotta split.
Thanks

I was just thinking the other day that they should reboot/remake the Highlanders series IF they give it a REAL budget and get a good script. The first one was good but it's totally dated in the 80s (not a bad thing) but with todays tech and better stunt men (Ray Park) they could make a badd *** highlander movie.

The original was on AMC the other day. I hated how they always had Christopher Lambert running around in big high top white sneakers it looked ridiculous.

WOW I'm new to your community, but starting to feel at home. This maybe exactly what i need to help me vent in this "government @#$k-up session" known as the "ression"....ok barbie horrible thought, but in the way of money making lil girls 2 thr 12 can;t wait, do we really care thou, I'm kinda fond of classic oringal crap as oppose to KNOCK-OFF crap (diva dolla, brats, whatever), either way i'm not watching it and i have a 5 yr old daughter. XMEN, I thought X-Men Origins Wolverine was pretty accurate for a 2hour time slot, but a First Class XMEN movie is maybe a little to much. Thats what the comic books and now online comic stories are for. I wonder if the writers struggle between apeasing 30-45 year old fans or attracting the newer generations. Either way the kicking *** so far. Deadpool as a movie, I love the deadpool character, but in a movie by his self or even based around him seems like another DARE DEVIL or ELECTRA (deadend). Personally I like them to some how intertwine all the marvel stories. Adding a b-line story along with whatever else they have planned but eventauly bring all the marvel charaters in a one big mega marvel blockbuster (prehaps the 1st AVENGERS movie), of course the villian would have to worthy of so many epic opponents ...Great way to bring in Apoclypse

And what brainless bimbo will get this role?
Paris Hilton?

If they want to do Barbie justice they should cast Johnny Depp.
