Ah Vin, the gay man's Chuck Norris.

Instead of redoing the few hits he's had as a leading man he should concentrate on smaller roles in ensemble casts like Saving Private Ryan and Boiler Room. I remember when critics loved this guy, now most treat him like a punchline and deservedly so with the projects he's picked. What's next, The Pacifier 2? God I hope Disney doesn't read that.

And what the hell is up with the writer of the article suggesting everyone go out and watch The Chronicles of Riddick? I think we all have much better ways to spend 2 hours and 6 bucks.

agreed. The first XXX was really corny but atleast not terrible like the 2nd one. I think this one will be as bad as MUMMY 3.

Somehow "moving right along" and "should be in theaters by summer 2010" doesn't go together very well. considering that these movies take about 5 weeks to make considering the stellar production quality of them, they could have one ready by Christmas. Also, I'm sure Vin is anxiously waiting by the phone for the day they call him with the date they will start filming.

more crap.

Rob Cohen is the very definition of a mediocre director. Even his best film, Dragon: A Bruce Lee Story, is not a very good film. He's just not that good of a filmmaker.

Agreed. He also certainly ISN'T the director you'd want for reviving ill-faded franchises (ala Mummy 3).

can not believe that the bald dude is still getting jobs. 1) he is horrible in parts where he has to play the main hero because dude does his same old monotonic schtick every time 2) most of his action movies are not mega smash hits (some are profitable but they usually break even) 3) in his fast and furious franchise, the cars look more alive than he does
