I just cannot understand who Cooper's amiable, yet lightweight, performance beat out Joaquin Phoenix's amazing transformative acting in "The Master"
I also think "Looper" is a weak choice for script. It's got the typical time travel kinks for fanboys to unravel, but there still isn't much there to chew on afterwards.
I like how they gave Affleck a "special" award, like a pat on the head. It must be a ribbon that reads "So you think you're George Clooney, ey?"
