The Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association announced the winners of their annual awards on Monday, December 10. The near 50 members of the organization voted on the best of cinema from 2012, honoring a wide array of films from indie hits to musicals, period dramas to science fiction.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't give it to Kirby Dick's THE INVISIBLE WAR, as that is far superior to BULLY, despite its sincerity. I was bullied in school and personally I didn't think BULLY was all that effective, despite the fact that I myself have been raising awareness about it. THE INVISIBLE WAR is a landmark film as it changed military policy.
