Critic Review - TV Guide's Movie Guide

This amazing film is devastatingly accurate in its depiction of the Rorke's Drift action, and is superbly directed by Cy Endfield, whose battle scenes are some of the most terrifying ever committed to film.

Actually historically is a pile of hollywood rubbish in terms of the eventsand with so many huge errors its almost unrecognisable from the reality. The regiment at rourkes drift was not welsh it was the 24th (The 2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot, not the south wales borderers. However its still one of my favourite films of all time

Must disagree about the accuracy. Do you believe it was a Welsh Regiment defending Rorke's Drift. Go to www.zulupaul.co.uk. for the truth my friend.
