Reviews for Alien 3
The visual imagery and gloomy tone are the only two reasons to see this disappointing film which is burdened with pretentious religious symplism. Nonethless, in his feature debut David Fincher shows a lot of promise for better things to come.

Top Critic Fox's DVD restoration/mea culpa of Fincher's original edit is cause for celebration. The studio cut seemed glibly nihilistic --this time when she jumps, it means something.
