"Finding Neverland," "The Aviator" "Closer," "Million Dollar Baby," "Sideways," "Kinsey," "Vera Drake," "Ray," "Collateral" and "Hotel Rwanda." that's the top ten list.

but i don't think collateral deserves to be in the list instead they have left out one of the best Faherheit 911.

FINDING NEVERLAND deserves to be seen & appreciated
What a simply great movie FINDING NEVERLAND is! I hope it wins the Oscar (TM) it so richly deserves. The story, the costumes, the fascinating back-stage view of early-1900s Brit theater, the determined refusal of Dustin Hoffman to even TRY an accent and Johnny Depp's here-one-moment-and-gone-another accent (sounding oddly Irish rather than English, but I could be wrong), and the luminous Kate Winslet is a revelation. What an actress! And, as an added bonus, you get to see how beautiful an OLDER Julie Christie turned out. Every actor in this film is worth noting, especially the boys who inspire the playwright, especially the boy playing Peter. RUN, don't walk, to the theater showing this film and plunk down your money. Take the kids, too! This movie will steal your heart, open the tearducts (in an HONEST, not emotion-yanking cynical way of some other films), and make you appreciate the genius of "PETER PAN" even more.

a good reason
Thought you might like to know that there is a great reason Dustin Hoffman didn't attempt an accent in this great film. The role he played was J.M. Barrie's American Producer, no accent necessary. Although the account in this story is not entirely biographical, this point is accurate. The man was a full blooded Yankee.
